The FindLaw Design Group Receives Two 2007 Webby Awards
The Webby Awards, hailed as the "Oscars TM of the Internet" and the leading international award honoring excellence across multiple mediums on the Internet, has recognized FindLaw, and designers Peter Otto and Ashley Marsh, for outstanding achievement in website design with two Official Honoree Awards - a distinction that recognizes work exhibiting remarkable achievement.
The 11th Annual Webby Awards received a record amount of entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states. Out of more than 8,000 entries submitted in 70 categories, fewer than 15% received this honor and were deemed Official Honorees. The judging criteria for the 2007 Webby Awards includes visual design, navigation structure, content, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience.
In the specific category of "LAW," FindLaw captured 2 out of the 10 Honoree awards:
